He is in the volunteer fire brigade and there was a big fire a few nights ago and he got hurt.
Did he get burnt? No.
He ruined his knee once and for all tho!
They say something tore inside and he needs surgery for sure now.
He is in pain and sad, so i thought id do something nice for him.
His PC is made of hand-me-down parts. Intel 4790k and a gtx 1070.
I was saving my old parts to build an emulation-system for my TV, but im giving it to him now.
Ryzen 3700x, 32gb ddr4 and a noctua nh-d15.
He saw my message today and he was really excited!
I explained the RAM-crisis to him and urged him, if he can, to look at radeon 9060 XT cards and if hes going to upgrade, to do so now, before it gets worse.
He said he will look at models tonight!
I think this is happening! We're building him a proper gaming pc for as cheap as possible <3
... it totally worked btw! all this talk of free PC parts, graphics card upgrades distracted him beautifully <3 <3
