Ok so I am aware that the devmenu is pretty obsolete, but recently i found out that is was possible to change your avatar using it. Im aware you can't share a link to it for some reason so i'm wondering:

-snip-

2. Is it even possible to run devmenu on Kosmos w/ 8.1.0 and if not is there an alternative to the devmenu for changing your avatar

Yes it’s possible, I have and use it on 8.1.0 on SX OS and atmosphere. Kosmos works too, but you need to sig patches. Get dev menu definitive edition, and it’ll work.

The definitive edition shows a compatibility warning after launching, but still functions regardless. There is also a modified version with the message removed which also works on 8.1.0. Rather than googling devmenu, try looking in homebrew sections on certain sites, maybe that iso site (if it even does switch stuff) or that dark site may have what you need.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
