If the "scan directory" option don't recognize many of my roms. How can i add manually this roms?

Thanks

I think is this case there can be done nothing because the roms have to match the roms in the internal retroarch romlist otherwise they will not be shown

I tried the latest nightly but it freezes like after 3 sec of booting a game.... anyone knows why?

Ok i disabled video threading now it works, but psx games are a bit slow..

Tested with RetroNX 0.9.8

Driver:
Input Driver = switch
Video Driver = switch
Audio Driver = switch_thread

Video:
Threaded Video = on

Bios files in system folder: scph5000.bin, scph5502.bin, scph5552.bin, scph1000.bin, scph1001.bin, scph1002.bin

Games: Warcraft II, Castlevania Sotn, Scullmonkeys

If i enable threaded video on video driver = switch, the console crashes

On RetroNX? If you are on a Nightly you should use "gl" for Video Driver, otherwise your konsole will crash.

Can I disable the right analog stick from fast-forwarding? My thumb keeps grazing it when playing in handheld mode and it's throwing everything off.

Tackling a few of the misconceptions in here (the ones on the last two pages). Scan folder is not needed. You dont need RA to recognize a game to boot it. You can manually select any file to boot with the core you want. zip is not a rom format, its a container.

Link plz! Is max lazy again, because its already in the thread - just go back a few pages, and you'll find it. :)

@m4xw and e/o the link to the test build currently is down. (Nextcloud) Just fyi. Havent downloaded it before, so cant test it currently. :) But I'm in no hurry. ;)

It's not necessary but I really love to see my roms with them boxarts.

I change the names of all my snes roms, but when retroarch scan the directory, them continue with the first name, for example:

- Chrono Trigger (U) - Spanish translated.scm

I rename this game to:

- Chrono Trigger (U).scm

But retroarch show me "spanish translated" text, why?

Thanks and sorry for my poor english.

Sorry if this has been posted but is there a tutorial yet on how to set this up properly on the switch? I have had a hell of a time getting all of the cores to work properly, the correct file paths, naming conventions, etc. I really want this to be the end all to be all emulation setup on the switch.

You literally just paste the 'retroarch' and 'switch' folders to the root of your SD card. You load the cores using the Load Core option.
