Looks pretty great!

Anyone know of a release date?

IGN dates it at a February 2010 release date for USA

Can't wait the first game was great, but had some downsides hopefully they will correct those in this sequel.

QUOTE
Dementium II
-improving combat is a big focus
-you can now carry a flashlight and a weapon at the same time
-there are now carryable items like health kits and adrenaline shots
-there is now a Castlevania-like map on the touch screen
-enemies no longer respawn
-another Metroidvania feature is that there are some areas that you can backtrack to when you get new weapons
-the main character’s past self left his future self such helpful notes as “FOR GOD’S SAKE, GET OUT BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE”
-variety is a big theme with the sequel
-new setting such as a harsh winter’s day
-a new simple save system

I hope they change the engine though. The engine they used for Moon and Dementium I (and C.O.R.E?) just doesn't agree with me. Turning is so... difficult. It's too tight, really. They gotta loosen the strings a little.

I have to say, this game looks awesome. I'm just wondering, is this a direct sequel to the first? If so, I'll play through that before I buy this one

You can adjust the sensitivity in the options menu
