Hello! As the title states, I have a Dell Latitude XT that won't boot. It turns on and goes to a black screen with a blinking cursor. (kind of like a command prompt). I don't know what OS it has. It had Windows 7 (or 8) but I tried to change to Linux after it started to do this. Any Ideas?

ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA??????????????????????????

Have you tried to boot a live Linux DVD? Fedora has a live DVD meaning nothing has to be installed. You might try medicat DVD or usb first though. Medicat is stickied.
