Hi All,
I'd appreciate some pointers if possible.
I recently attempted my first Picofly install, I used the kamikaze method on an OLED switch. Everything seemed to go well, continuity and diode check all passed. I did have some issues tinning the dat0 via but I got there in the end and diode check worked.
On first boot I got the blue led followed by some yellow error blinks. I also tried to boot OFW but just got a black screen.
I've now removed 3v3, CMD, CLK and DAT0 (unsoldered at the motherboard end), and unplugged the SP1/SP2 ribbon (ribbon is still soldered to caps).
I still cant boot into OFW.
I've tried charging the unit, I used a thermal camera to see the board warm up and the battery start to heat - so it would appear the charging circuit works.
I've tried USB-C into windows (with and without battery connected), I get nothing at all - I was expecting the APX mode.
I tried disconnecting the LCD ribbon in case this was pulling something down.
Any idea where I should go next? Could this be a dat0 issue? Or more likely to be a power rail issue?
Cheers.
