Use the Gamecube controller adapter on Injected Gamecube games from home menu

Like the title says, is there a way to use a gamecube controller on injected gamecube games from the wiiu home menu? I have a mayflash GC adapter but I cannot seem to get it to work with injected games from the home menu. If there is a way, please could someone give steps? Thanks!

I never injected GameCube games for now but I think you have to set the Nintendont settings in your injects, cheats, video mode etc, so maybe you can see to disable native controller (it should be disable automatically if Nintendont detect you on Wii U but check anyway?) or the Gamepad as a controller is set on .

Wii VC mode can't use the USB ports at all, so that means the GameCube adapters (which are USB HID devices) can't be used whatsoever. The main advantage of injects is being able to play with the GamePad so I would recommend only using injects if you wanted to play with the GamePad. Otherwise just use Nintendont from the vWii proper.
