Hi all very good, I wanted to ask a question although I know it could be very obvious and I just heard about the "Deja Vu" that would allow hacking the switch patched , well, I also knew that it would only work until Firmware 7.0 and I wanted to know if in the future it will also work in 8.0.0 or will it never happen?

My console is in 8.1.0

From my understanding Deja Vu will never happen on 8.0+. If you have a patched unit on 8 you're screwed sell it and get an unpatched unit.

You never know what might happen. You might wake up tomorrow and find out that the Switch’s private key has been leaked. Is it likely? No. Buy a used unpatched Switch if you want hacks. If you want a coldboot you’ll have to pay an inflated price on a brand new Splatoon 2 Switch package.

Not deja vu, but some other exploit will probably find a way. I mean some people recently discovered an exploit for the Nintendo DSi, a console that's over 10 years old!

Wait 10 years to hack my console? no thanks I would prefer to buy another one that is not patched

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

And with that said, it's not exactly known when something like that will be publicly available for fw 7.0.1.
It could happen now,in the next 100 hears or perhaps by the next eon.
Jokes aside, please people be patient and be civil. Don't pressure the devs with their work.

It is not pressing as I knew of the hack that would work until 7.0 and if we had 8.x we would forget about the hack I thought that it would never come out for that version and they would remain as the only ones like "No hackeable"

I would like a Predator game "Kill Team" it takes place in the Jungle of the first movie, your team is sent to hunt the predator, using current tech drones and a trained team. Set traps use strategy to hunt and trap or kill the predator.

Ill stick with my Battlefield. Yea a predator hunting game like that would be cool. Esp if you can be Arnold and say "Get to da choppa"
    +1
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Maybe Arnold could do a cameo voice acting, he is the one briefing you on the mission

I went today and looked at a motorcycle someone was selling. I get there and the battery on it was dead, so the guy grabbed a battery charger and hooked it up. He plugged it into the wall, and the motorcycle sparked and started smoking. Come to find out the bike uses a 6 volt battery and the guy had the charger set to 12v. I said sorry to the dude and walked away. I felt bad for him tho.

Not sure I would want something on fire between my legs
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
He ruined it basically. Sad cause it was a decent old bike. It would take more money to rewire the bike than it was worth tho.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah I'm sure at minimum the starter was fried
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
