Gaming Defective DS Cart ? Pokemon Distribution

So through some luck I got my hands on a Pokemon Distribution Cartridge non working condition I opend it as I was expecting that a stace has been cut and thats why it wouldnt show naymore and for the last 3 hours I have been trying to find out what is wrong with it as every trace connects to the coressponding Pin on the Rom Maybe somebody has an Idea ( I checked with an Multimeter ) ( And sorry if it here out of place I didnt knew where to post this )

The Probelm Im haveing is that the Rom connects flawlessly to the pins that lead to the DS so I cant get my head arround what the problem could be I postet the Photos

if every trail is working, maybe they did something to the chip is broken?

Yeah it is :/ But the chip itself was off the hock from what I can see as the chip was a bit higher on the board then where they tryed to cut it, and yeah thats the strange thing I looks at the pin outs and every pin is going to where it should go and the chip itself looks like new :/ I have anpother one of Ash`s Pikachu that is bent to hell and back the the board is even cut but works perfectly every time ( Besides the point that it doesnt really want to fit in a cartridge port anymore )

Looks like there is your problem? these pins looks worn out, maybe you can "remake" them some way?

other way could be swapping the chip with an unwanted game that have the same structure , I think

Yeah how wouldnt ? x3 ( I mean as long as they work ) Anbd sadly the pin is okay :/ Its just the light that makes him look lush because of the bend ... And the problem is that it is a Board I have nver seen until now I opend arround 5 games now ( as all of them where defective in one way or another ) and non looked like this "Game" :/ And becsides that the soldering points are far to small for me D:

Yeah ... maybe somebody will come to this thread and has another idea O: I should never give up :3 And yeah I tryed to bend it back a bit and the contact are making contract

I just wanted to get done with it and gave up since last time I tried to fix it I tryed to resolder the pins on the chip as I was guessing that that could possible be the thing but to no avalie and I just cleaned up the exes solder with solder wik put it back into his orginal sleeving and just put the cartridge just foethe fuck of it back into my 3ds and low and behold : IT WORKED ! IT STILL WORKS x3 Im so amazed right now and happy you wouldnt belive it ^-^^

I wonder if you can stick a paper (or even a folded piece) between the side of the DS cart with the sticker and the edge of the slot. See if that forces a bit more contact with the pins. Make sure you leave a bit sticking out just in case the card doesn't pop out anymore.

Thanks for the Tip but the Chip Itself wasnt solderted to he Board anymore and now it works again ^-^ But thank you for your imput anyway

Here you go The Cart only works between the 18.09.2011 and the 25.09.2011 so you have to change the date on your Ds or 3ds and the Pokemon game you want to download it to needs to have the same date as the Sending DS And older Carts looks more Interessting as this is just plain Text on Black background but the older ones have a Pokemon grafik on them

interesting xD oh well I was waiting for something like a menu at least but really look like "develop stuff" XD

it remind me that if you get(or make) a wondercard, you can use pokesav to make it able to be redistributed a number of times you want, this could help at least to don't have to change dates XD
