To be fair sd cards suck now and days, they die and mafunction very unexpectedly and it sucks. Hope no future consoles ever use sd cards, Maybe make something more durable.

I don't know what SD cards you buy, but I've never had any of the problems you describe.

Consoles using SD cards are great because SD cards are universal and it's easy to transfer files to/from computers.

I'm very curious to see how far can 3desmume go.
I voted for DS flashcards though. Cheap and relliable method to play games

Well least you can't break or lose a emulator like you do with flashcards, Also if people just make one flash cart instead of so many and keep updating the one people already bought instead of having to buy a new one every time (which i dunno the actual story behind that) It would be better to me instead of constantly keep paying for new one unless is a upgrade with new fetures and content and not just "Patched to work on latest system software version"

over $40 for super card ds two is not bad since it will be able to patch by yourself when needed to work on new firmware.

Shutterbug said it 'might' work with the o3ds but seeing as how the n3ds has more ram power than the o3ds I don't see it happening without a lot of lag like the old revision has.

Because of how TWL_FIRM works and how much work it'll take for it to even READ from the SDcard

well yes but it's a better alternative since it won't require CFW to boot. in order to get ds roms playing on TWL_FIRM, you'd have to patch it.

And in order to patch it, you need CFW.

Off the SD card? Then why don't we see NDS virtual console games? I know we have some DSi games on the eShop (I think). Why are they avoiding this whole market of an amazing handheld?
