The only
fact of the matter is, there are no easy answers and there's a whole shit-ton of grey matter that twists in a whirlwind over there. If you're not in the Israeli army or a muslim (of which I am neither) living in Palestine, you're basically living as far away from the intensity as the rest of the world. None of us know the real facts, but it
IS okay to care.
I don't think it could be put any better than this.
My feelings on Israel are a mixed bag. I'm one of those that actually supports Israels right to exist, but I do not, can not and will not ever support the Zionists seizing land like that they have done. Nor can I justify the actions they take against the Muslims, but I also can't discount the acts of violence committed by Muslims. Both the Palestinians and the Zionists are terrorists in their own right.
Some of the most brutal imagery I've seen in the conflict are little known incidents that got very little coverage because they seem neither here nor their in the big picture but the 2 events will stay with me forever and will always be the little things that show the brutality and insanity of the whole situation.
The most brutal images I've seen from Israel was a handful of images taken during weapons preparation. The IDF were encouraging children and teenagers to write messages of hate on missiles. I know it sounds like nothing compared to all the violence committed by the Zionist government but it just captures it perfectly for me.
The most brutal images I've seen from the West Bank/Gaza side were a handful of pictures posted on a Facebook group along with a huge collection of comments from Muslims living there. The pictures were of a boy about 14 being set upon by a mob. He was on the floor, broken and bloodied and being stamped on repeatedly. His own mother was also involved with the execution (there's no other word for it) of the teenager. His crime? He felt compassion for a captured IDF soldier, released him and helped him escape back to Israel. The comments left by supporters, including the mother, were also just as brutal.

Christian Palestinians are treated no differently than Muslims. Religion is only a guise in this brutal siege. To Jews, this is a race war.
