As I understand it:

rev13a included some change that required a small change be made to loaders for them to work. NeoGamma is the only loader I know for sure has the fix, but I haven't been following the threads for all the various loaders out there. At any rate rev13b was released so that older loaders would work with it, but supposedly load times will be longer.

The upshot, use rev13a, but make sure the loader your using is compatible with it. The required change was very slight and doesn't hurt backwards compatibility, so any loader being actively developed should have the fix already.

as far as I know the GX Loader already got the 002 Fix (thx to WiiPower).
Maybe it wasn't implemented right...

Well, I don'T have any problems with rev13a and the GX Loader.
But what I don'T understand is that rev13b is much bigger in filesize...
Any info why ?

With rev13b the 002 error is fixed but there lies another problem. Let's say you load up one game. Then a few minutes/hours later you quit and want to play another game. You load up the other game and lo and behold! It doesn't load! In order to play another game you would have to power cycle the Wii in order to play another game. Disconnecting and reconnecting the USB HDD doesn't work while the Wii is on after finish playing a previous game.

So I went back and reinstall rev10.

Annoying but true, same problem here, so im also switching back to rev10.'

However i appreciate all the effort Waninkoko is putting in this! two thumbs up!

Looks like rev13 has the HD spin down fix. I just did the Mario Kart test and could see the HD access light blink every few seconds like it does with Hermes' 222.

Why exactly do I need this?

I have a modchip and the last game I had an issue with was Punchout wich I fixed by running it through the latest GeckoOS.

This are the updates that I believe are installed on my system. My wii was updated with Animal crossing, it didn't seem to affect anything. I can run wads, homebrew, wii games etc and my syetem stayed at 3.2U... Then I had issues with Madworld, I didn't update from the Disc. But I installed the IOS that I needed to play the game. Then I did not have isues with any game till Punchout which runs fine by running it with the latest geckoOS.

So far No Wiiware or games issues. The last Wiiwar game I tried was Contra rebirth. The latest game I tried is Punchout.

I do not use or do not plan to use any USB loader. I do not plan to play any Guitar Hero games or Rock Band games on the Wii. I play them on the Xbox 360.

Waninkoko mentioned on IRC that he included a new song in the installer and because of this the size grows

Song is "very" important, but fix better the Thing with Powercycle for a new Game

Anyway, Im back to Rev 10, this works and is enough for me

for me all Versions after rev10 are crap ....
why thats simple there drop the higher HDD-USB-Compatible for a few Games.
- No USB-Retry working - ( in USB-Loaders )
- Alot of USB-Drive must be unplugged to get it working
and and ..... .

I´m on rev 10 and wait for a better USB-Drive support in the next Release.

oh my, whats going on??

every revision of cIOS lately is a miss...

i thought a main reason for an update was for RB usb instrument support/ USB perpheral support? i've heard that wii speak and the GH:WT mic work, but theres issues with RB still lol

whats going on in the coding world...

Really? Well, it's just outputting through the TV speakers (which probably aren't amazing), but it sounds kinda fuzzy and unclear... but when I play anything though DMP, mplayer or anything it's clear as gold
