... And the Guitar and Drums work?
I've been using Waninkoko's USB loader and a couple of graphical front end ones based on his... they would load the game, but none of the peripherals would work.
(EDIT - Thanks, after a quick search, I found instructions on how to do this... I'll try it out, but I'm still curious as to why my previously described situation isn't working anymore either... )
Ok... I tried the above, I merged IOS37 with IOS36 into IOS223. Here's what happens -
- I go to HBC and the light on the Rockband Guitar USB receiver is blinking like it should.
- I load uloader and the light turns off (as if the port is disabled)
- I then go to Rockband and select it to use IOS 223.
- I launch Rockband and the game starts -- BUT -- the USB Rockband Guitar USB receiver light never comes back on... and therefore I can't use the rockband equipment.
This is what happened with every other USB HD loader I've used...
I've tried re-installing IOS223 again, same results. I get no errors when I do this - it says installation was successful. Any ideas regarding what's wrong?
don't really need dvddumper anymore tho do you?wolffangalchemist said:am i the only one who dvd dumper code dumps on with rev12 - 13b?

I JUST CAME!swarmster said:Where are all the people with their Animal Crossing footprints doing speed comparisons. It sounds like 13a might make more games compatible than 13b, but is one faster than the other? Is either faster than rev10?
Lookie401 said:With rev13b the 002 error is fixed but there lies another problem. Let's say you load up one game. Then a few minutes/hours later you quit and want to play another game. You load up the other game and lo and behold! It doesn't load! In order to play another game you would have to power cycle the Wii in order to play another game. Disconnecting and reconnecting the USB HDD doesn't work while the Wii is on after finish playing a previous game.

...or actually:
I came.
I download rev13b.
I install rev13b.
I test a few games (reason below).
I reinstall rev10.
I post result.

What's the problem THIS time? I'll get to it but first let's get to speed test! Again using ACCF. Also a recap for those who didn't see my previous post.
Original disc (6x): 7 steps
Backup disc (3x): 9 steps
USB HDD (rev9/10): 3 steps
USB HDD (rev12): 7 steps
USB HDD (rev13a/b): 4 steps
So it looks like rev13 is just a tiny bit slower than rev 9/10. I don't think you'll notice a difference. Using ACCF again, there's a "pause" between each steps so to compare rev9/10 and rev13 again, here how it looks like:
rev9/10: 1, pause, 2, pause, 3, pause, title screen
rev13a/b: 1, pause, 2, pause, 3, pause, 4, title screen
With rev13b the 002 error is fixed but there lies another problem.
So I went back and reinstall rev10.

I tested rev13a when it release but didn't mention much because it's the same as rev13b with 002 fix. If you see what I listed the speed is the same.swarmster said:I hate to ask after all that, but did you check rev13a or just rev13b? Since the 002 check is handled by the loader in A and the cIOS in B, it would be interesting to see if there's a speed difference. Seems to me like A might be a little faster?
