Ah, yea I've already seen that video. And as far as differences between VS4 and VS2K6 go. In VS42K6 they updated the game for the 2006 world cup in germany. All the latest player data was updated to 2006, new game strategies were added, 12 new countries were added, things like that. You can tell by that video that VS4 is a slightly different game. Maybe crediar will go ahead and add it to QF as well, who knows.

edit: Also, I don't think that video is starting up. I think its just being recorded after it loops back to the intro screens. For example:

edit #2: After researching a little I found that VS4 does in fact have the calibration screen just like VS42K6 does.

Does anyone else here who is playing VirtualStriker4-2K6 think that 1:30 is too short a time for the matches? They can be raised as high as 5 minutes per half in the arcade machines service menu settings. I personally think crediar should raise the match time to 5 minutes per half(for vs computer and vs human). Does anyone else agree? Maybe if a few of us say something about it crediar would be nice enough to go ahead and do that in the next release. It should be as simple as patching the match time from "Default" to "5:00" instead.

Because quadforce doesn't emulate the internal backup of the triforce system the games can't save the calibration, so VS asks it on every bootup.

VS does allow for up to 5:00 matches, you can set that up in the test menu but those settings are also saved in the internal backup, the only option here is a memory patch for time being.

@Crediar I'm sure this is been asked several times before but is there a way to add 2P support for MKAGP1&2? Also isn't there a way to fix the lag in MKAGP2? I can tolerate the slow menu but the low frame rate can be annoying during races!

Low frame rates? I'm seeing anything wrong with MKGP2.

yeah my gp2 plays fine no lag at all

my sd is fat32 32kb clusters

For me, GP1 plays fine, but the framerate of GP2 is slightly stuttery in-game. How can I find out the cluster size of my SD card without re-formatting it? I'm pretty sure I used the recommended settings when I formatted and installed the games for Quadforce 0.1.

Mine is formatted to 64k cluster, GP1 and all the other QF games run fine but GP2 has low framerate, kinda like the early footage of Sonic and All-stars Racing Transformed, you may haven't noticed it if your eyes were only on the car but look at the road, every few seconds there's a noticeable frame skip!

I'm happy for everyone. Crediar made some well deserved money, and improved quadforce was released to the fans. I gotta finally get this thing working tonight, hopefully from the emuNAND.

modifying the value of 804768E0 and/or 804768E1 greater than 0x0A causes a time set to 1 minute.

but i found another well working value to set the time to what ever we want. give me some minutes to find out some values

by going beyond 0A you go outside the value table.

If you want to set the time limit to whatever you want you can do this.
Set 804768E0 or 804768E1 to 0 and then write the time to 80247B5C as a 4-byte.

ie. 5mins ( 5 * 60 * 60 ) is 18000 in hex 0x00004650.

45 mins would be 0x000278D0 hehe

i'm just trying to use the moment before the countdown starts to switch the time to the value we want.
