is this working on r4 sdhc clone??just asking..don't make it bad
If the card works with YSMenu, then yes it will work. If it doesn't work with YSMenu, then no it doesn't work

QUOTE(lolval @ Aug 18 2010, 04:41 PM) Coverflow works on DSTWO?
In short, please look through a thread before posting. It has been asked many times before and was even asked just two pages back on the top of those pages here. It will work as viewer, but it will not load roms since the Supercard Two doesn't have a loader.

Any card that works with YSmenu will work with this. Well the M3 Real is the exception. And no problem

Strange side-note. I was bored and felt like testing something. I copied the DSGAMES.NDS into the loader section of the card, named it a loader_supercard.nds. Then tried to run a rom. It didn't run the rom, but it did put into the DSGAMES.NDS. Not sure if that help, but it did cure curiosity

ok boss I will remember it..meow!!

I got DSCovered to run on my M3 Real, but some games like DQIX or PQ2 aren't appearing in the list. In DSCovery, those games are written in BOLD, and they are "deselected" (they arent marked with a dot like the others). What am I doing wrong?

So DSCovered just tries to run DSGAMES.NDS as loader, but it just goes to DSTWO menu. This is natural behavior.
In short, any homebrews can be installed as loader_*.nds but it is very useless.

You can use YSMenu and WoodR4. Or for fast loading you can try loader_extlink(dscoverloader) and nds.r4loader.nds combo from mshl2tools.

* As for woodr4, mod version from waio package is required.

Okay, where can i get it and is there a tutorial out there for the R4?

Ok, forgive me if I sound noobish here, but I tried installing DSCovery but I ran into a few things. One anytime I try to boot a game via the coverflow screen I get an error: basically a screen that says error. Then if I turn my DS off and then back on it automatically loads the game I just tried to load.

So my two most pressing issues at this time are: How do I fix the error and how do I make it autoboot to DSCovery every time.

Now, I have a DSTT with the latest 1.18 firmware and I am running v9.9 of YSMenu and I followed all readmes to a T, so I am little uncertain at this point.

If this has all been answered before, then forgive me if I over looked it in this 104 page thread.

Latest DSTT isn't 1.18; it's still 1.17a12. Get that from DSTT section sticky with latest fixes.

I think you have YSMenu as firmware and you open DScovered with that? I think it fails to load game becouse it finds .ini but not .nds. Then when you boot again it has written game on .ini AUTOBOOT= and YSMenu starts it.

Basically if you now have YSMenu then rename "TTMENU.DAT" to "YSMenu.nds" also make sure you have "YSMenu.ini" on root, too. Then move DScovered TTMENU.DAT to your card. If you don't like to keep YSmenu files on root of card or want to use DScovered via YSMenu just use Xenons inilink + iniclear.

EDIT: YSMenu v9.9? I only have latest YSMenu0903270000.zip

Is there away to get the games to show up in aphalbetical order?

can you install this on the clone r4 upgrade?
With latest version of DScovery.exe just click "name" bar and they are alphabetical order.

It should work on R4 clone if you get WoodR4 or YSMenu working on it.

I had the old Dscovered, with old icons. When I tryed the new one the icons did not switch. Also what is the theme folder for? Can you switch themes. I notice that new update did not have the skin folder in it. When I use it I got pink on top with old icon. and the black on the bottom.

any ideas?

Just tick the boxes yourself, and then choose download covers. After the covers have downloaded you will probably find the newly selected games have deselected themselves again, just re-tick the boxes.

The names are probably still up the shit so, double click the name that is messed up and rename it to something decent.

Ensure everything you want is still ticked and the choose 'update card'

You will only have to do this once as the cover wil now be stored in the dscovery covers folder and the name in the dat folder on the PC.
