Hacking Cover Flow USB ISO Loader by Beardface

I know this is off topic, but boy am I so glad people were outraged about the idea of paying a few bucks to help a site cover its server costs so that we could move to a second site with 'practically unlimited bandwidth' and so that we can now use a third.

Anyway, 1.2 seems to be working without any freezing up so far.

it was never about covering costs.

Ps: Switched to rev14, same results, so back to rev10, it works better with my hdd

Same problem here with my 4.1E
Previously: 4.1E with cIOScorp not a single code worked on a rev13, rev13b or rev14
Downgraded to 3.2 with the same result
Now: 4.1E without cIOScorp not a single code works on a rev13, rev13b or rev14
Almost same problem on usbloadergx only some codes work, but I don't use it...
And for the codes, I tried both making my own GCT files and using files generated by coverfloader.

I just ran through what you showed me in the video, did everything the same (except clicking on/off 20 times

) and the cheat works for me. I'm on 4.1e, cIOSCorp3.3, cIOS38 rev14, CoverFloader 1.2a..... this is strange

Anything else installed like cMIOS, cIOScorp? Did you update through Waninkoko updater?

I did the full cIOSCorp install from da_letter_a so that includes DVDx and cMIOS. I used Wani's updater to get to 4.1E...
It's me that put ocarina support in and wrote the cheat manager so I've been trying codes nearly every day since this loader was started. Never had a problem that I didn't cause myself and fix before committing the code. I've had a lot of Sys menu/cIOS combinations in that time.

Have cheats EVER worked for you with CoverFloader? I really want to get this working for everyone.

Codes never worked for, something fishy in my Wii? I followed tutos very carefuly, but it dosen't change anything... I even tried on a non-SDHC SD (the 2Go Nintendo-Sandisk). I won't stop until it works

You're not trying to use cheats online are you? because they're disabled in this loader...

If you have the time and the patience to do a test, could you back up your sd:/usb-loader and your sd:/codes directories then delete them. Then run the loader (preferably 1.2a), it will create default directories. Re-download your cheats and see what happens.

I don't play online and cheats are used only for fun (glowing tennis ball in WiiSports for example).
I just removed both directories but it still doesn't work. How do the loader recognize online? Do I have to shut down wiiconnect24 or anything like that? I may have missed something.

Back to the drawing board then...
Don't worry about your wiiconnect24 settings - it's definitely not that - I was forgetting how it works: if you enable cheats the loader stops you going online in the game (something all responsible loaders should do).

Must be the France thing! You and -RoY- are both French, only you two have reported this problem so it seems quite likely that's the answer

Thanks for versions 1.2 and 1.2a! Testing 1.2a now (since most likely 1.2 does not have alt.dol possibility, am I right: have not checked yet?)

FYI: Looks good, except for the alt.dol: only have MoH to try it with and unfortunately it fails with both image as :sd and :usb option. From image it gives a dump, with :sd :usb it locks on the wristwrap screen...

My config: 4.1E with waninko rev14, running from usb, a WD passport. The dump is fine, it works with alt.dol on USBloader GX (not meant to irritate).

Keep up the good work, and maybe someone can give me a pointer on how to get the alt.dol working (rather not fix the dump with WBB) or use this info to improve on the code?

ok i have read some pages, strange , my coverflow only detects whenever its in the top USB slot however i get blue #002 error, i can run them from NeoGamma fine. any help? Oh and my coverflow use to work last week.
