I would like a little more info on the startup_menu.ini I can't get the emus to load the flow I am telling them to. they all load the same one.
I've tried with say [FCEUGX] as the header and [FCEUGX-mod8] I then read here where you said not to use the hyphen. So, i renamed my fccugx dol and changed the fceugx ini to match.
One question though. Where does DisplayName come into all this? Is that only the displayed name? or, would that affect what the startup_menu.ini is calling or referencing?

are you still having trouble or did mastershoes help?

hi I just wanted to thank you Mastershoes for all the great work youre doing with these covers.... and also I have a question on the new plugins pack the plugins.ini are like this
Code:
[PLUGIN]
magic=534e4553
coverColor=01a300
coverFolder=snes9xgx
fileTypes=.smc|.fig|.sfc|.swc|.zip|.7z
romDir=snes9xgx/roms
dolFile=snes9xgx-mod8.dol
bannerSound=snes.ogg
displayname=SNES9xGX
ReturnLoader=yes
Question is where should I put the covers? and how should I rename them?
I have tried the way mastershoes says on the first post on this topic and no good... and I'm adding the covers on snes9xgx folder on the root of the sd card...
thanks again for the awesome work

with that ini you got right there, you would want your cover folder to be in /wiiflow/box covers/snes9xgx

and the covers should be your rom name with a png at the end. example:

Super Mario World.zip.png
Desert Strike: Return to the Gulf.smc.png

Generally I would assume that since there are so many more covers in the 2D sets than the full cover sets that all of those included in the full covers are also in the front covers
BUT
I noticed the n64 sets are similar in size.
I don't actually know of any Wii64 cover mod so It may just not be a priority but is there any in one that's not in the other?

EDIT : Another point I realized, if you want to use any of the 2D covers for SNES or N64 with WiiFlow-mod as front covers (which you would if you have one of the titles that's not in the full cover collection.) in order to use them with [member='mastershoes']' coverflows you would have to manually turn the image sideways. I found this freeware app that can do them all at once. Just important to note that you have to save them in a different folder because it won't replace the existing files and it still does take a moment to get through several hundred images at once so be patient. It's still a lot faster than doing them one by one.

EDIT 2 : Okay, I answered my own question. I downloaded the 2D and full cover sets for n64 and it looks like all of the front covers are also in the full cover set. (I think it was 48 of them had a slightly different name but they're all there.)

it's not by catagories.
It is by using the new source menu. if you're running a new svn you can press + on the source button to take you to it.
check on the last like 15 pages of the wiiflow thread

Sorry for that stupid question, but I´m using this mod since yesterday and not so advanced than you all ;)
Were is the startup-menu.ini? I´ve searched in every folder, but cant find it. Or do I have to create this by myself?
