Hacking Couple of noob questions

Sorry to be a pain but:
1. If I followed Plailects guide to succession and my firmware says: sys 11.0.0-33e does that mean I'm on luma?

2. If and when the next update occurs, how do I go about updating? Will it be through the system settings or something a bit more?

ALso yes you are on luma if you read "SYS 11.0.0-33"

And just don't update unless someone say so

I see, that is a problem if people didn't notice a threat that is posted in capital letters and listes as the first page "3DS NOOB PARADISE" I wonder what can be done about this.

(No i am not being mean or offensive, it must be a problem if it can't be acknowledge easily)

Don't update your system unless someone confirm it is safe to do so.
If you can See "SYS" You are using luma
