Hacking Countdown for new R4 Firmware (15th September)

with this topic I am posting the official "Countdown - Thread" for the new R4 firmware scheduled to be released on September 15th.
You can discuss here which new updates could be in there / any brick warnings / whether the firmware is even coming out or not.
Moreover, I ask you to post any news or helping informations right here in this thread.

And now, have fun discussing till it's released.

Hopefully they will fix the cheat database bug, so that Narin etal will not have such a headache from n00bs saying that cheats are missing from the database

You haven't heard? They are planning to release a new firmware. It will include a Wii, PS3 and XBOX 360 emulator and can play PC games on it.

In all seriousness, I don't really see this happening and if they did release a new firmware, don't expect any major updates. Perhaps a couple compatibility fixes at best and the code to brick the fake R4s and such.

History making day though nothing is gonna happen IMO
It's good to have hopes, i am waiting for ysmenu to be totally compatible with r4 (am talking about it able to run homebrews without patching) then i will go for it, or else i don't see anything wrong
