Following is a partial list of games that require a install of data onto the PS3 hardrive, along with the optionals. As this is partial, I would like some help in updating it as well.

Add NFS Undercover to the list of copy-protected saves. it's the reason why I needed to do some hard drive swapping and do the Sony backup rather than simply copy my save files on my ps3.

i tried to download and use a game save for god of war 3 and it says i cant load content that isnt mine

is there any work around that? is this the sort of thing your thread is about?

No. This thread is about what games use copy protected saves and what games require data installed on the internal PS3 hardrive, along with those that can function with out installing something to the internal PS3 drive.

You can add Super Street Fighter 4 to the list of optional HDD installs.

And the space it takes on the drive?

Well, the original SF4 is also an optional hard drive install, of ~2GB (I think 2.2). I can't imagine that SSF4 is that much different.
