Hey, I'm trying to convert Taiko no Tatsujin Vita beatmaps to the "latest" Wii U version, but I'm having some trouble, so I was hoping for some advice.

What I've found:
  • Beatmaps are compressed, and using the L7C Archive tool, we can decompress them.
  • The vita beatmaps then need to be byte swapped with Double Word size to match the Wii U version.

At this point, the Vita and Wii U versions are almost exact. However, there some some parts of the Vita version that are different.
Here's some differences I found (* are abstract, so that can be any hex value):

  • ** ** 01 00 FF FF changes to 00 01 00 00 FF FF
  • 00 00 00 0* 3F changes to 00 0* 00 00 3F
  • 01 0E 01 4A changes to 01 4A 01 0E
  • 00 18 00 06 changes to 00 06 00 00
  • 09 0A 00 00 changes to 00 00 00 00

These changes are all based on the exact same song from both games (Senbonzakura).
There are some other slight differences, but most of them are hex values in the vita version that are 00 in the Wii U version.

Any help at all would be appreciated, and I can put out more info too if need be.
Thank you!

(also, just putting the byte swapped vita version into the wii u game crashes it)
