Hacking Converting Saves from VBA

WHOA!!!!! with MORE testing and boredom and thinking and retrying everything... I got padbin to change the size!!! (with outphase's help of course!!!

I think after hours of reading... I got it...

Heres my plan:
do wut I want in a gamesave (in VBA)
File>Export>Battery File
pad file to appropriate size
convert the .SAV to .0 using the G6 Save converter
flush SRAM so saves wont be overwritten by old saves
then play (and hopefully work!!!)

if u see a flaw, please show the correction!!! I'm crazy---desperate!!!

You can drop the file padding step if you're using the G6 converter. It does it for you. That mention of padding is for the slot 1 users.

okay! my VBA wont export the stupid Battery file!!! wuts up with that???

VBA always created a .sav next to the gba rom I played.

I'm getting NOTHING!!! I cant tell it to. It wont make one when it closes either!!! those are the only ways I know of getting the .sav!!!

figuired it out... just cant fix it!

I cant extract battery files if I loaded a game save... now to redo the whole game...
