Edit: New version of 51.8 just went up as the first identified as 51.7. Download again (same link) if you really want the correct version number at the top for some reason...

I just skimmed really fast through the thread, my issue is (and I'm pretty sure there must be some stupidly obvious solution): I download and unzip the file, then whenever I try to double click on it, it just says that "the application could not be succesfully initiated(0xc0000135).Press accept to end"
I tried placing the file everywhere,but it doesn't seem to work

You might need to install .Net Framework 2.0.

If you want the latest version of the .Net Framework, go here (bigger download, but may work better).

v52 of Configurator is out

Changes:

• Made a few tweaks to image conversion (discovered 8bpp PNGs don't work with Cfg so now they get converted).
• Added translation option to match the soon to be released 52a2 (52a option names have issues and will be deprecated).
• Changed wiitdb.zip download method back to the old one, now that it is supported again.

Translators: Sample CDBs were updated. They also now show the default text value for the options with text.

• Added a menu bar with common features and some new actions (see below)
• Added the ability to view and download Cfg versions (also backs up old boot.dol, just like Cfg)
• Changed default cover URLs to match the ones planned for use in Cfg v52b

Edit: It was pointed out that I accidentally upgraded to .NET 3.5 some time ago. I've now corrected that and made a .NET 2.0 version of v52.2. I'd appreciate if people can test it out, as this will likely be the base of future versions.

If you haven't started yet (or done much) get the latest version of the sample_cdbs again. I just added the label breakdown so you don't have to find them on your own, and removed some of the text values in places where you shouldn't be altering the text (like for text boxes and Numeric Up/Down boxes. If you've already begun translating, then the label info I added to the top of the list of translations in configurable.cdb is enough to copy over.

Please keep on working on the configurable usb loader so we (translators) have time to catch up on the configurator.

Which is also a good indication how much work the coders have put into these applications, very much appreciated !

At the line "GO_console_mark_saved" the tip finishes with an "a" referring to... what?

At least I'm nice and give you the sections at the base of each file that tell you what is new just cut and paste those sections in. For v52.3, the only file to change was configurator.cdb

OK, this is a slight problem. If you check the Configurator itself, you'll note it's meant to be a "a # in the console", but you physically can't translate that due to the commenting system. I'll add some sort of escape character to the next version to allow for this.
