I was wondering, where do i put the patched folder? I put both of them in the cfg usb loader root. My usb hard drive is formatted in FAT1 format, it runs straight with Nintendont but I really enjoy using configurable usb loader to run my games just because I love the covers! And also because, kiiiinda easy access. Thanks for getting back to me, if you do.
What is FAT1 format?

I don't really know, all I know is that it is compatible with my wii games on cfg usb loader and compatible with gc games on nintendont and i am trying to open gc games with cfg usb loader but I get "Failed to load kernel from NAND" error

Ok so here's my problem....

I'm a huge newbie to modding wiis, I dug out my old wii and put home brew on it. After a large trial and error, I got cfg loader to work from a forwarder from a sd card. I've been playing iso's from external hdd on slot 0. So now I want to connect said external hdd via a powered 4 portUSB hub so it can also be used for watching movies on my tv, and run itunes, as well as playmy games. When I use the hub the loader doesn't find the hdd. Please advise what I am doingwrong..

Thanks!

HDD will not work through USB hub on the wii.

Hi I don't know if it's been asked before, but is it possible to switch from 3D images to 2D images in the flow view? I find having all the cover art at a angle projection to make it a bit harder to identify the game quickly (and looks kind of stupid to me). I'm aware that I can probably just switch to a different loader, but everything works as it is now so I don't want to go through the hassle of finding which files in my mess of a SD card are important or figuring out which ones properly support nintendont and then setting up the shortcut.

Also is there a way to cut down on loading time? It seems to hang for a whole minute or something when first launched (64gb SD if that helps)

I'm sorry if this has been asked a million times already, but can WBFS games launched through CFG Loader support USB controllers, like the official Gamecube adapter?

Is this still being worked on? depressingly, cfg-usb is the only loader I could find on the Wii that will see and load both Wii and GC games, and annoyingly there seem to be no more updates for the loader, or the cheat lists for respective games. Currently, trying to update cheats (particularly for GC games) just gets a connection error, even though I verify that I can get online with said Wii system.

I'm using USB Loader GX for loading both Wii and GC games, works great. It even launches VC/WiiWare titles installed on emunand, but the VC games sometimes don't work.

Funny. At present, GX won't even see my GameCube games on the same hard drive, so it obviously won't load them.

Are you using a fat32 partition for the GC games, and making sure it's the first partition on the drive? I had always used CFG Loader for years, but some time ago it just stopped launching games, so I had to change to GX, and it turned to work better, but I guess it comes down to each different setup.

The Hard drive I use is formatted to FAT32, yes. And it's the only partition it's ever had.

Neither WiiFlow nor USBLoader GX will even try to see the GameCube games stored on it, let alone load. Only cfg-USB does.

Weird. What format are they in? I think GX reads them in regular iso format now, but I've always had them in the format that comes out when you use DiscEX on them, force of habit, since that's the only one that used to work on GX. But if CFG sees them then they're probably already in a format readable by both. Sadly, I don't know a lot about what makes one loader work while another doesn't, because it still bugs me that CFG won't work at all even though I didn't change anything.

Something is wrong then at your end... both WiiFlow AND Usbloader GX should see and run GC games..

just out of curiosity, you have this file setup right?
>SD/
->games/
-->"Gamecube game name"/
--->game.iso (the exact name, not mario.iso or zelda.iso but game.iso
->wbfs/
-->"Wii game name"/
--->A0A0A0.wbfs

Is there a way to use CFG loader mod to use ocarina cheats from the HDD and NOT the SD card? I'd rather have everything on my HDD because it has more space and it's more convenient for Project M. I feel like there was a way to do so but I just can't put my finger on it. When I use my HDD only I get the error that says "Too many codes".
