Gaming Completely new to PSP. Need some help...

I got a free modded PSP from a relative of mine, which made me happy since I wanted KH:BBS. Long story short, I needed to use some applications just to have more fun, but I'm having some trouble with homebrew... namely..


Exactly WHAT do I do with the files I download? It does not tell me where to install them or if I should put them in a folder, or to change their name, etc.

Anyone mind helping me? One thing I'm trying to use is PSN Lover. It's just a single .prx file.

Homebrew: /PSP/GAME/(homebrew folder)/EBOOT.PBP (and all it's other shit if there is more)
Just put it in there and it should show up in the list. If not, you probably have one extra folder level.

PRX: /seplugins/
Also modify the VSH, GAME, and POPS text files. If you want the plugin active in the PSP's main menus, modify VSH. If you want it active in games, modify GAME. If you want it active in PSX games, modify POPS. If you want it active in more than one, put it in more than one... just don't have too many plugins at once or shit will happen.
Anyways, in the text file you edit, put this line.
ms0:/seplugins/plugin_file.prx 1
Of course replacing plugin_file.prx with your prx file.

Explaining some more: the EBOOT.PBP is basicely an executable for the PSP that contains the homebrew.
Most of the time, you just have either a folder with an EBOOT in it (wich you must place in PSP\GAME), or a PSP folder with many folders in it (which you must place in the root, the first folder you see when you boot up the Memory Stick on the PC) There are also PSX EBOOTS that are basicly converted PSX BINs.

ISOs (which are the official PSP games) go in the ISO folder on the ROOT of your Memory Stick (Create it if it doesnt exist yet).

If you want to play KH BBS, i recommend to upgrade to 5.50 GEN D3, download the 5.50 GEN patched ISO of BBS by KlOwN, and have ABSOLUTLEY NO PLUGINS ON! else the game freezes while loading or saving.

Edit: Never mind, I did something wrong. I just checked a step-by-step video on Youtube and it (seemingly) works now. =D

Personally i'd suggest everyone avoids KloWn's uploads....there are better, and easier alternatives.
