Nope... Just seemed like the typical "use the search" or "let me Google that for you" sort of response, when you added the "if you look" on it. If that was not the tone, my apologies, because your post was helpful.
Any chance you could point me to the swooping separator from the cards? If not, I may just create vector one, myself, using a HQ amiibo box as a guide.

I couldn't find it anywhere. I made my own vector image. Although I used the actual box art to get mind so I could get the part of the pattern that is behind the amiibo.

I made playing card size cards and credit card sized cards. I'll post the links again if someone missed them but that's all I'm willing to share of the things I made myself.

I've seen these posts, several times, now. I'm just sorry you're not willing to share design elements, like many others have. Thanks, anyway.

I was posting the links for people who haven't seen it.

I don't understand your logic though. You think asking for the parts of something is somehow better or different then asking for the psd. The psd is literally just collection of the parts. All you would be doing is laying the things down. The hard part is making the parts. The easy part is laying everything down after it's made. If someone doesn't want to give out the psd it's because they don't want other people using the parts. It would be like asking someone to give you their car for free but if they didn't want to give you their car for free telling them that you don't mind if they take it apart first and then give it to you. :/

I've been working with graphic design and photo editing for more than 25 years. If you should take the time to look through these forums, you'll see how generous I have been with my graphic work. A PSD is much more than just a collection of parts, and it is NOTHING like disassembling a car to give a part. It's more like... You have an unlimited supply of toothpicks. Using the toothpicks you have assembled a nice intricate dollhouse (PSD). I'm not asking you to take your dollhouse apart... Hell, I'm not even asking you for the dollhouse itself. I'm asking you for one of your unlimited supply of toothpicks. But you know what... They are your toothpicks. If you want to keep them for yourself, that is up to you. Unless I'll be using my personal graphic design work for profit, I share. That is what this community is all about. I mean... I'm sure you got Nintendo's permission to use their images/design elements, right? It's nice that you have shared your card designs, but they just don't work for everyone. I was just going to rebuild a new PSD for a different card dimension. If you choose not to share, that is fine, but you don't have to be a jerk about it. Thanks.

I wasn't being a jerk. I was helping you and you are giving me attitude about it.

All I was saying is I don't get your logic. And I disagree with your toothpick analogy. Sure some of the parts that are used are straight copies from official sources. I have no issue giving out where I got those. But you yourself said you understand why people wouldn't want to give out their psd files. People put time into them. to use your analogy with toothpicks: I have an infinite about of toothpicks. And I have an infinit amount of sugar. And I spend the time to make some marshmallows out of that sugar. And then I build a really simple cube out of marshmallows and toothpicks. The toothpicks are easy for you to get but the marshmallow takes work. And building that cube is pretty easy if you have the marshmallows, since the toothpicks are a pretty much given. And now you want me to just give you a copy of my marshmallow so you can make your own cube. But my marshmallows are what make my cube special. So no I dont want to give that up. I'll give you toothpicks, I'll give you the blueprints to make a cube. But personally I want to own my marshmallows. And the marshmallow bits were made from scratch they weren't copied from Nintendo. Anyway that's how I see it.

So to reiterate my point I just don't follow your logic that you understand why people wouldn't want to give their psd out but expect people to give you the things that make their deigns their own. It just doesn't make sense to me.

Edit: don't get me wrong I realize some psd files could be lattices of toothpicks. But we are talking about at tops maybe 3 parts to a background plus the logo, the text and the character. 6 parts in total. The laying out part is easy.

The PM's I have received from other users explain a lot. You won't understand my logic.

So, in summary...
I asked if you would "mind sharing yours?"
You said, "that's all I'm willing to share..."
I said, "I'm sorry you're not willing to share...", and I said, "Thanks, anyway."
This should have been where it ended, so... "Bye, Felicia!"

P.S. ~ Any mod that would like to delete our (@Random11 and @TiMeBoMb4u2) mindless banter, please feel free to do so.

I don't really care if you want to go talking behind people's backs. Forums are where you go to discuss things. I disagreed with your assessment of the situation and asked you about it. I can't do that now? Is that against the rules? You want a mod to delete your posts now really only shows me you know you cant defend your argument and you want to hide it. But whatever.

@shane9b3 Was wondering where you got the picture of Zelda where she is cropped out of the background paint. I could only find archer link with no paint in the background. I need to find the other 4 and cant seem to anywhere.

I took out the background myself, I have also done the other ones. I will post them tomorrow when I'm back at my computer.

I like how @shane9b3 offered to share his work with @Random11. It's nice how generous people are to one another, here.

-_- your point is? I didnt say I faulted you for asking. I said I didnt understand your logic of asking for all the parts to something and thinking that somehow it was better then asking for the whole thing. Also I just asked for a public link. Which I have been happy to help people with like yourself. Where do you see me asking him to post his work? He offered to post his work without me asking. I did follow up with him afterwords but that was only after he offered. Good try though.

there is no fierce deity link amiibo. Its a majoras mask amiibo... and its young link holding a goron mask. You are also forgetting about the twilight princess link

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
