Gaming Commodore 64 added to the Wii Virtual Library!

An announcement that made me jump for joy:

Epyx announced Commodore 64 will be added to Wii's Virtual Console, the first batch of Commodore 64 titles for Wii will be Impossible Mission 1 & 2, Winter Games, Summer Games 1 & 2, Pitstop and Jumpman Junior.

What do you think the prices of this games are going to be?
There´s a bunch of people who think that 5 dollars for a SNES game and 8 dollars for a N64 one is too much.
I´ll be pleased to pay US$8 to play Mario 64 on all it´s glory.

Oh man, that HMD mask better come out along with Virtual Boy games on the VC list.

Impossible mission? Was the commodore version the one that actually WAS impossible? Or was that the Atari or NES version or something?

I can play commodore 64 games for free on my modded xbox. Or if I ever have the space I can use my actual c64. I got a MMC cartridge so I could use SD cards on the C64.

No, not at all, I think they will sell packs of C64 games, 6 games for $5 that will be fine.

While this may expose those great games to some people who would otherwise not experience them, I find it hard to get excited about this. I mean, I've already got a C=64 emulator for my PC and if I realy want something that hooks up to my TV there is always this.

I'd go dig my real C=64 out of my parents attic if the 1541 ][ wasn't shot. :/

The news of c64 with nintendo isn't that new i've known about this for a while now, and some games like impossible mission 1, california games, winter games, summer games I&II, and the last ninja trilogy will have remade graphics for the ds version. Im not sure if the wii version will have updated graphic's or not, but they are actually making this for the psp too for some odd reason. Some of these games actually aren't comming out till next year sometime, so till then i hope they remake some of the hundred's of rpg's like the ultima series.....that is if you old enough to know what real games were.

P.S You can't get excited untill the prices come out, and they better be like 50 cents each at the most.

Hmmm lets see with 20 years of inflation, and the way currency grows in this day i woud have to say not more than about $1 or $2 considering that they are about a few cents on the net now.

P.S Summer games is supposed to post your world records online, and anyone can challenge each other making it have unlimited replay value.
