so the full release needs to be much more stable as theres no way to back up nand on 10.3

The downgrade is only going to be dangerous and brick your system if you give it the wrong firmware files. If that happens, that's on your head so exercise caution and make sure you have the right firmware when it's ready!

Well, yeah. That part is user error. However, if the app itself isn't stable and crashes halfway through, would that not cause problems?

It won't happen, KTM files have a header, it won't install n3ds jp shit on your o3ds eur

I've gotten it close to every time, other then a yellow screen on homebrew channel load.

True, but that code hasn't been written yet. @JustPingo appears to be attempting that with KTM, but I'm a little wary of that. EDIT: If it's got headers to help protect the uninitiated, then it's probably going to be fairly safe at least in that regard. The consistency of memchunkhax2 is merely on how consistent it starts. The downgrader being unstable will cause bricks, not memchunkhax2 in and of itself.

Hi, i've tested your beta software "memchunkhax2" on my New 3DS XL with the "9.8.0-25E" firmware, and Menuhax...
Here is the first attempt, without launching "FTP-3DS"

My second attempt after reboot and launching "FTP-3DS"

My third attempt after reboot and redoing the second attempt...

In the third attempt, after it seems OK, my 3DS frozen, I rebooted it, everything is OK, not bricked

It's an outdated fork of @Steveice10's implementation of memchunkhax2. It doesn't do squat.

I'm trying it now as it apparently runs FBI in kernel mode, i'll let you know how it goes
