the game will boot but with bad sound, the 40 will make the game slower but that prevents it from random freezing.

Fire Emblem Warriors no idea how you got it pass the loading freeze.., nether alone slow..
For FEWarriors, I mixed up from the previous build that works. Sorry.

everyone play tales of lengdia pcsx2 high resloution on 8x times its fullspeed every computer u can play citra anygame perfect on unnoical build like dragon quest 8 high res its mad on 3ds better than ps2 emulator best upscaling emulator ever seen on citra.
Please don't compare a PS2 Emulator that has been in development for 15 years to an emulator for a completely different platform, with a completely different hardware that's been in development for not even 5.

Just update some news in case you guys addict too much to gdmk to be aware of official builds.

Most of the "new fixes and enhancements" it includes are already merged in the official build, or will be merged in a few days. For details:

  • Pokemon outline fix - already in the master branch, the official build
  • system_mode branch, which allows to run home menu - ditto, already in the master branch
  • ticks_executed branch - ditto
  • CPU JIT fixes - will be in official build soon
  • texFiltering - well, this is probably gdmk's works, but since he doesn't release the source, I really don't know how good or bad it is. btw I(!) have already received several series bug report from this enhancement. https://github.com/j-selby/citra/tree/texFiltering
  • gs, controller, and so on, these old friends have been in the bleeding edge build for ages.
So, as you can see, some branches that is marked as "additional feature" in gdmk build are actually in the master branch = gdmk build is behind the official build at many points -> why do you guys still love it so much?

@drwhojan 's latest build(see Page 347) Results:

  • Super Smash Bros for 3DS seems to have FPS drop but no matter it runs decent. However, if using mods, game will crash probably because of unsupported UI(custom UI works on 3DS)
  • Minecraft New 3DS Edition is slow and have similar FPS drops as Minecraft Wii U on Cemu
  • Animal Crossing: New Leaf crashes on title screen
  • Kid Icarus: Uprising perfectly run better!
  • Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains boots and runs well. But FPS is not fast
  • Donkey Kong Country Returns doesn't seem to boot
  • Hyrule Warriors Legends and Fire Emblem Warriors runs slow
  • Metroid: Samus Returns runs well! Some parts have FPS drop but that's minor
  • Super Mario 3D Land Beta crashes
  • Super Mario 3D Land is slow
  • Super Mario Maker runs well!
  • Mario and Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympics Games run fullspeed
The rest are the same or I don't mind to test them cause I mostly play those on an actual 3DS.

As of 3DS System Apps(update):
  • System Settings works!
  • Home Menu crashes(probably because I dumped it when it was 11.4)
  • Mii Maker runs well but freeze when you exit QR Mode
  • Face Raiders have Fatal Error
  • 3DS Sound App works but cannot record voice(obvious) or boot Soundhax(testing purposes)
  • 3DS Camera works well
  • Download Play runs but useless
  • Nintendo Zone boots but requires NNID

Have you try the latest main citra are canary for this issue ?

Hmm. I haven't downloaded the canary build hours ago because I was practicing patching SaltySD to code.bin for Citra(and confusing newcomers thought that code.bin contains mods when it's actually not).
But I'll try.

A theory on booting Home Menu with all of the stuff:
You have to dump the entire 3DS System App as CIA and then install it on Citra with the Install CIA feature. Once you're done installing those for aprox 3-5 hours, boot in Home Menu and it might work. This also requires the same NAND dump. So I'm not sure thought. Feep free to debunk it Citra Devs.

Well lest it froze on main citra canary so it rules out my build at lest.

Hmm. From what I read in the description, he got the old versions of the home menu which is 4.5 and 7.1. It's pretty rare to find those versions outside. But the only option is try to find someone who have 4.5 firmware which I believe it's impossible to find.

Too bad that you can't downgrade. My theory is that if you follow the guide to install a9lh(if you have 11.0) which will downgrade the 3DS to 4.5, maybe we can get Home Menu.

I found the issue "Subv/system_mode" was preventing the game from starting up, and gone into white screens..

This simple replacement fix from the original branch, Help's the game work pass the white screens fixing this issue

But I have a question, what is exactly the reason that many games get improvements in performance with your builds but Mario Kart 7 always has the same performance? Almost the same as official Canary builds, I'm just curious, almost every Mario game has better performance in your builds except for Mario Kart
