Okay. That's strange. When I boot the game(any game), everything is in Japanese. Heck, the Roms that I dumped which are USA are in Japanese language. I don't know why is it Japanese. But I think it's a bug. Heck, I even delete the user folder and see if the Japanese text are gone. But nope. It's still there.
The games that I boot which are English that turned into Japanese:
  • All Pokemon Games(XY/ORAS/SM/Virtual Consoles/eShops)
  • Animal Crossing
  • Mario Kart 7
  • Yoshi's New Island
  • A Link Between Worlds
  • Kirby Planet Robobot
  • Megaman Legacy Collection
I don't know what's going on. But I can't make a new save file when it's Japanese.
Of course, the game is English when there's a save data.
This happens on both the Bleeding Edge Build and the Unofficial Build.

That's what happens when the region is set to Auto-Select in the config. Set the region to a specific one and it will work ;)

This also happened to me by chance you are using auto-select region leave in the game region and it will be normal, the bug may be there the region auto select this mixing regions.

running on an i7 4770k. r9 280x

the 12-1 gdmk build runs the fastest for me, 45-60 fps. it crashes due to instability, but i noticed that the graphics look waaaay worse compared to bleeding edge and drwhojan. Why is that? gdmk build do something different graphically?

im getting a fps diff of almost 20 between the both of em.

Thanks! I almost fully delete the previous user folder which have a save file of Pokemon Moon postgame and others as well like ALBW and Sanic Gener-mommyithinkimayhaveanovariancystwhomadethisshittyvideo.

BTW. Has any contributors managed to fix the SD Card error on Mario Maker 3DS?

Whoa, the nightly build has increased speed for me like 20% - SM3DL is finally full speed, including outside areas.

One (big) issue: It doesn't have the batching-fix branch merged so a ton of effects are black. :( If that can get addressed though...whoa watch out!! :P

https://discuss.citra-emu.org/d/1023-latest-unofficial-nightly-build-available-here
im not sure its faster than Citra-GCCKU-Citra+BleedingEdge-08.12.2016-update2 . Who tested it? its realy better speed?.

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
    +1
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

Nor clothes 🤮 . Saves on time, soap, water and money having to wash them. :D
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
