Cool I'll try it out tomorrow
cIOS 222 is the only one I'm using because of Fat
translated changelog with Google translater:
* New installer
* Now uses only pure ios to install the cIOS
* Added the ability to install the ios224
* Added new patch to work with mload and ehcmodule
* Now all cIOS are installed as version 65,535
I'm not at home and i wont be for a week so i cant try it. Tell me if it is any good.
Why you don´t put put the official thread of Hermes?
did not know about that
How about a direct link, one without either needing to sign up for an account or use of a translator.
Great, it's finaly out .
Now, the important question for me: Does it work now with SNEEK? Would be awesome...
I'll try it in sneek in a few minutes. Eating dinner at the moment.
From the readme in the new installer download.
It have a new FAT / FFS module that emulates the saves of the console (see Configuration -> Edit CFG#2, select a connected device
and folder (it support "nand", "nand2", "nand3" and "nand4"). You can export from the NAND the saves (if you have) one or launch directly
and teh game creates one. If the folder countain datas, you can see it in Green and Red without any datas. SD is protect for Game access
if you are using it (remember you need a SD with 32KB per cluster to work in optimus conditions)
Does this mean some sort of nand emu is supported for save games?? If so is it in the cIOS or is it in uLoader?
Hope its in the cIOS, maybe CFG and GX can make use of it then!!!
Should I overwrite it from cIOS 222 ver. 4 to 5 ? I read the readme and I dont see any impressive.
What happens if we want to go back to v4.0?
Worst that could happen is we have to delete it with ATD then install v4.
version 5 is not compatible with other loaders it appears.. its been confirmed that it wont work with config loader and it failed loadign games on my usb gx..
its very annoying saying that it has no ntfs support on cfgloader
@GolfDude: Same with me. I can't get it to work on USB Loader GX, but I didn't try Config Loader. I am going to try it now.
EDIT: I am using a FAT32 USB Drive and haven't tried it yet. Will try when Super Bowl is over .
v5 doesn't seem to completely work in SNEEK. I made a test application that reloads into it, but I guess since I don't call any mload functions, it reloads fine, but once a USB loader tries to invoke mload, it seems to fail still, like v4.
