Yes... You're able to play this legendary RPG on archeide's SNEmulDS. Props to him for making such an amazing emulator.

Yeah.. This thread is for helping purposes... and to discuss the game.

I'm hoping Grimalkin will notice this.

Well.. I'm on the Golem boss, and he's a bitch.

(Feel free to ask away!)

Chrono Trigger on the PSP > Chrono Trigger on the DS. So if you can run the SNES emulator for PSP (sorry don't know the exact name), do so.

Well, it's not buggy at all, it's just graphically messed up in some places. So far it's only been the Magus fight, and Zeal has problems (You can't see it

), but that can be easily fixed with the GFX Config.

Ah. PSP can handle both, PS1 having better framerates. DS only runs the SNES one.

Correct.

If anyone else has anymore questions, please ask away. Whether it be about the Game or SNEmulDS running it. I've beaten Chrono Trigger approx. 16 times, and I'm going for my 17th on my DS.

Thanks for the answer Nero. I think I'll wait til the graphic errors are fixed before I play Chrono Trigger on my DS.

Don't wait.. Why?

It'll probably never be fixed.
They're minimal, and they don't affect gameplay at all. Don't expect perfect emulation out of it.
And it's a feckin' good RPG.

When I'm playing an excellent game, I want it to be 'perfect'. I can't stand it when there are slowdowns (even in an rpg) or if there is a sprite error for a background object. That's just me though.

OCD much?

Just kidding.

There aren't slowdowns in Chrono Trigger on the DS.
There's messed up techs though (Not all!), and that's about it. (If you wanna count the layer problems)

Can PSP run SMB RPG?

Umm.. SMRPG? (Super Mario RPG)

Well yes, the chip makes it pretty hard to emulate it though. SMRPG is impossible to run on the DS.

PSP: Turn the sound off, turn off the vsync, put on frameskip, and it should run decently.

Stay on the topic people!

Oh hey, I noticed the thread! Lol

I just got my final missing ending. Beat Lavos from End of Time bucket using only Ayla (after PKing the other characters

)

THAT my fellow tempers, is a challenge.

(Ayla was lvl 72 during the battle AND NewGame+)

And the ending I'm referring to is Ending #11:

Code:
Conditions:
ÂRight after Schala Opens the Sealed Door at Zeal Palace, go all
Âthe way back to the Gate and Use it. Fight Lavos using the
ÂBucket. REMEMBER, do not use the Mammon Machine. Immediately
ÂAfter Schala opens the door, go directly to the End of Time.

^Of course I could have done it with any characters, but I felt like soloing Lavos
