Hacking Chinese DSTT firmware runs games fast.

I tried various firmware offerings the DSTT had on their website and I think one of the Chinese versions (1.08 or 1.09) ran the games a tad faster than the normal game speed. I noticed because I was playing Mario Kart and the intro music was obviously a bit faster than what I've heard before. Just wondering if anyone else has heard of this.
