you're not required to do any fancy hack like this. just wait until a stabler release gets rolled out
It's not really fancy, or a hack. Those wanting to back up saves, edit, and restore them, will only need the save they are editing. Otherwise you are just making unnecessary writes to the nand.
There's no point in restoring 20 quick saves, when you could just do a manual save, back up your saves, delete all the other garbage saves, and restore. With the added bonus of lessening the chance of corrupting saves.

can you share the switch version? the github link is down.
smh

Please wait for a stabler release to be rolled out soon, being better compatible with more firmwares than the pre-release one. That's why the link is down. It's strongly suggested not to share nros that haven't been distributed by me.

You just copy and pasted my write up on github, stop claiming glory with other people's findings

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

It deletes all others. I would advice not to do that.
It does not, i've already tried it all this does is replace the saves it does not delete anything, even my album is still present.

Hello @All

i have the problem, if i use the Editor, i get every time a corrupting save file, also if i change only the Rupine Counter zu 99999

Switch - 4.1.0 - Checkpoint 3.1.0 - BotW 1.0

know anyone a solution for this problem?

sorry for my bad english :O

Works fine for me on 5.0.2. for future updates it would be nice to dump saves in folders with the specific date (so it won’t overwrite something) and a dump all saves at once function for easier full backup purposes

I have 5.10 and it works for me. tested on Pokemon quest save. I backed it up, deleted from the system settings and then restored through checkpoint. bammm. thanks!!!

also the front GITHUB links for me currently as of this post. so cheers!

Last edited by Endlessclouds,
