You guys should really stop using hekate. Just be patient the last few days until Atmosphère comes out.
Unless you really know what you're doing you should avoid messing around with hekate. Just sayin'. :)

I've only used hekate for my NAND backup so far. It would be nice to get save backups too, but I agree. I'm waiting for Atmosphere before doing anything other than backups. I'll probably wait a few revisions past first release too, to make sure it's stable.

Works nice for afterbirth+, and you can use the pc save editor for afterbirth+ with no issues.

This will be the first homebrew I'll try once I get Atmosphere (Waiting on 4.1) things are getting hot but all those warnings about hekate are holding me, but I can't wait to put my Switch save of BOTW on my Wii U :P

Also a quick note that I'll be adding to the first post soon as well:
Don't report bugs here as I'm not the dev (@EventAssistant is).
Create an issue here instead so the dev keeps track of everything.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with using hetake. It doesnt do any form of hard to the console.
 
Checkpoint works on 4.0.1

So this is safe to use? I wont get banned or anything if I use this on Sonic Forces? I just don't wanna go through 100% the game again.
 
Too bad its not working for me on the 4.1.0 console. It starts Checkpoint but then the whole screen is frozen before all games are listed :/ ...anyways great work keep that up! :)

I'm making a site to store Switch save games. They would be accessed and saved by sending GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE requests to my webapp. Hoping to find someone who would make a small POC app to send and receive data so I know it works on the Switch (my Switch is on 4.1), with a view to making a fork of Checkpoint that will store and retrieve saves from online. The binary data would need to be converted to Base64 encoding (and converted back when receiving) so it can be sent in json and stored in the database. I know GET requests are possible since it is used on the appstore (see line 123) so I imagine POST, PUT, and DELETE are as well.

Used Checkpoint on 4.1.0
It seems to backup saves fine, restoring them... not so much.
I have my backup copied since I expected this to happen, so I'll just wait.
I'll get those hours back eventually!
your save is still there, even if it failed it didn't delete or override your original one.

I deleted my original save as to test if it would restore. It says it restores, but it seems corrupt.
I'm fine with this though, as I'll presumably be able to use my backup later.
