Yeah, for the 3DS version. But you're right, I should link to that in OP.
Edit:
Here's the Switch support commit for the BotW Savegame Editor btw -> click.
Seems like the savegame differences between the systems are not that big.![]()
That picture is so wrong... Literally anything before Gamecube and ps1 couldnt give back up saves give or take the n64 but the memory paks were janky at best![]()
And this is why homebrew is amazing. Awesome tool.
Read the first post. In short: Not for anyone above 3.0.0 for now.Just to confirm will this work on 5.0.2?
I have hbm running is why I ask?
Very interesting. Thx for that. Read the Endian stuff in the commit without knowing what it meant.Based on the work I've done on save conversion of BotW it seems Switch uses Little Endian for saves and Wii U uses Big Endian for saves, well, at the very least that's how BotW is stored. More information on Little Endian vs. Big Endian
And yes that seems to be the only difference between the saves. Makes reading/conversion trivial![]()
What did you try? Backing up the BotW savegame?
That worked for me (3.0.0, cartridge game version).

A nintendo switch that is compatible with the homebrew launcher. Is there anything you need for it to compatible with 5.0.2?
I have a switch on 5.0.2 and the NAND dumps for 5.0.1 and 5.0.2. It does have a working homebrew launcher. I was just wondering if I could help in any way.A nintendo switch that is compatible with the homebrew launcher.
(your system needs to be on 3.0.0 or below)

EDIT: Apparently im a bit behind the times...im going to go back into my hole
same errorI get an error when I try to overwrite botw save ERROR:0000F601 Failed to commit to save device. Any ideas what it could be?
Savegames are stored in the nand, not on the sdcard - normaly. (As in, if you go with Nintendos concept - this homebrew allows you to store them on the sdcard as well (where they wont be accassed by the system).)Need this so I can transfer then reformat my 128gb sd cord as fat32. Currently stuck using 32gb for homebrew. 128gb with no homebrew. Want to swap the sd card.
