any way I can check using a multimeter if the cable's still good? I see there's a fray on the bottom left ground plane connection. this is after I killed my v2 switch for reasons unknown when trying to install the mod.
Thanks!

well from another thread [sx-core-pcb-leaked.591580] (I cant post links yet) looks like theres no trace running down there. But would still appreciate if anyone could give instructions on how to test the entirety of the part with a multimeter

Flip it over and you will see exposed “fingers” at the end marked “up”. You will be able to see traces that you can follow to the 4 solder points marked sp1 and sp2. Trace the fingers to the so points with a multimeter set to check continuity. That should do it. (Really tough for this piece to break tbh.)

YES! I followed the pin using the image of the cable with the masking removed and checked each pad and fingers for continuity. I installed the modchip to a new working switch and loaded into cfw successfully :)
