Hacking Checking A GC Backup Is Legit

Am i right in thinking that once a gamecube iso has been downloaded, i then run it through the unscrambler program?

Just not sure how to check whether the backup is real or not...

Seeing as nearly all GC Dumps were made using a modded GC / BBA+PSO exploit, they are unscrambled already. Just burn it and play.

You can see if the GC-Tool will read the GC iso file. If it shows legit data then the file is good.

thanks for the help guys, Hooya that GC-Tool was particularly useful

It'll verify the name of a Wii image too, although the program gives an error because it isn't completely compatible with Wii images.
