I normally enjoy a good RPG but the one thing I hate about them is the need for grinding. I was glad that thanks to the cheat codes I would be a able to rectify this but I have now discovered that the Multiply exp codes don't work with the two RPGs i've got. Is there any way to fix this at all?

Have you checked the codes if they are the same for different exp x amount?
Where did you download them since some cheats don't work since well they just didn't work like the early CWcheat database?
Have you tried multiple cheat databases?
What games don't work with the codes?

Yes, the codes are different.
From here, but I don't know which version it is.
No, I haven't been able to find any.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

    nope

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
