You talking about these codes I posted? They work every time consistently for me. P1 always P1 except story mode tutorial where P1 and P2 is swapped. I am puzzled what could be the cause, is there really a dependency with the switch environment? What CFW are you using? @wiitendo84 does my codes work on your switch?

What I observed is these code are good most of the time when starting a match. For 10 pound of gold as the tournament progress the code can become invalid. Since the game let you continue the match when you quit just quit and come back and the code is likely to be good again.

If you use the [Full Menu + Save and PHS Anywhere] dont use the PHS until you actually get it in the game!
Dont revive Aeries until she is dead.
I would not use the key items codes. Supposed to use one or the other. (1+2) or (3+4).

edit. Ok I wasn't clear here. The Item List and Materia List can be arranged to move items and materia up and down in the list. So if you use a slot 1 code. Move the item or materia to slot one and push the button activator for 99 of that item or to master the materia. If you use one of the last slot codes. Pick one item or materia it will show up in the last slot and move it to another spot. Keeps moving it from the last slot to make more copies of the same item or materia. The items will be x99 and the materia will be mastered. Then turn off and change to a different last slot item or materia code and repeat.

I have now completed the story mode. Yes some of the time the player can switch around. I now make code for 8 player, not sure if it now covers all the permutation. The most I have seen is six on the stage. Most of the time the order was correct. Anyway enough of this game I already deleted it previously and put it back just to see what's the behavior, now it is gone for good.
