I was wanting to get all the amiibo costumes in BOTW by using the 30th anniversary amiibo and stuff, but I don’t have any of them, and I was wondering if there was a way to get either the amiibos just by printing out an amiibo card, or if I could use some other alternative to get the amiibos for free. I was wondering because the amiibos are kind of pricey, and I don’t want to buy all of them, even though I want all the outfits. Please, any help will be appreciated.

If u have cfw I think there is a amiibo emulator for switch

I don’t have cfw, because I don’t have a micro sd card yet.

How do I get the power saves thing, and what do I need?

Powersaves thing is crap can only hold 1 amiibo at a time so u will be flashing over and over for each amiibo better off getting an Amiiqo/N2Elite holds 200 at a time

What is that, and how do I get it?

Oops, never mind.

AnalogMan, what is a power puck?
Probably referring to the rewritable PowerTag included with PowerSaves for Amiibo.
As opposed to what Shadow said, PowerSaves for Amiibo is not a bad option. You can get a pack with 5 extra tags for $20, + $20 for the set with 1 tag, gives you 6 tags and a writer for less money than a N2 Elite + writer.
Switching between Amiibos on the N2 Elite is not very convenient, having 6 tags means it's easy to switch between them and you don't need to flash them that often. The downside is the PowerTags don't last very long, they break after some number of rewrites. So definitely recommended to get extra tags for it, and it can quickly become the most expensive option if you rewrite them often.
If you have an Android phone you can also get blank NTAG215s, they're not rewritable but you can get 100 of them for $25 and they are small enough to fit in a tiny ziploc bag they come in. And easily flash them with the TagMo app. I recommend this option, as you get so many tags for $25 you might never have to buy any more. You can go the extra mile and print round labels to put them in coin holders or make Amiibo cards.
Also, with an Android phone a separate writer is not needed for the N2 Elite.

Try Aliexpress , they sell sets of printed Ntag cards which work on OFW and im sure they do a BotW set.

I think you may be able to emulate amiibo's with this android app if your phone supports it:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rdapps.gamepad

In the app config menu, there's an option to load a bin file for the NFC functionality.

(edit): You don't need to hack nor buy amuiibo to use this. However, I don't know if doing this may cause your console to be banned, so as always do a search before, and I don't take any responsability of the outcomes.
