Hacking Changing system language with Luma 3DS?

So I have a Japanese 3DS that I've hacked and installed Luma 3DS on it. I've tested a European copy of Pokémon Sun, and it works. That was basically my main goal. However, the system menus are still in Japanese. I'm interested if there's a way to change that without flat out changing the region of the console. There's a guide on Nintendo's site about this, but I'm guessing that's for PAL consoles since mine doesn't have the option it refers to. Thanks in advance for any help!

To play a region-free game that has multiple languages in a specific language outside of the 3DS regional firmware (ex: play Pokemon Sun in EUR English on a native JPN 3DS), you will need to use Luma Locale Emulation.
