Well as the topic states I'm looking for information on how to change region or the ID key on a Gamecube save file either by patching or hex editing, problem I have is that I have an PAL version save of Tales of Symphonia for the Gamecube but an NTSC version of Tales of Symphonia: dawn of the new world so when I try to load it from the GC memory the new ToS can't locate my saved file because it's from a PAL version.
I know that NTSC version work because I've tried downloaded save files for NTSC version and they register just fine, I've seen hints and stuff that this should be possible to do but nothing comprehensive and lots of dead old links so I was hoping someone here could give some insight.
Any help or even if you know this to be impossible I would be grateful for any information
EDIT:
Ops! ended up in Hacking, thought I posted it in the Wii - Hardware, Devices and Utilities section.
