Hacking CFW&GATEWAY at 11.2.0-35 possible?

Hi,

My question is like topic

I am at sys 11.2.0-35 EU version with A9LH or A9S - i do not know what kind of this hacks I really have? I recently buy really cheap the Gateway 3DS - as collectible but wanna try it. So is it possible to use them both?

Also have question - what is max sd card that Gateway handle? Same question have for DSTWO <- version that is not Gateway clone, just for DS one.

you can use Luma on sysnand 11.5 and Gateway on emunand 11.2

i havent kept up with news on gateway but last time i heard anything it was about bricks

it brick only if you use clone card, if your gateway is an original card and not a clone (like dstwo+) it'll work well.
and iirc it's only with old version of Gateway

The main risk is with sysNAND, if Gateway is booted on any 11.3+ sysNAND, the FIRM partitions are restored to original, wiping B9S and in the case of A9LH it can even cause a brick (this is not exactly the fault of Gateway though as Nintendo added some new code in 11.3 that does this, but Gateway still have not implemented FIRM protection which would prevent this from happening), and the same thing happens if a system update is performed while in Gateway sysNAND mode.
That's why it's only recommended to use Gateway on emuNAND.

Look on your 3DS SD card. If it has boot.firm on it, it's most likely running B9S. If you're on A9LH you'll want to update to B9S by following https://3ds.guide/a9lh-to-b9s
Don't update your sysNAND when the guide tells you to though. Wait until after you've created an emuNAND and have that working with Gateway before you update your sysNAND.

If you keep it linked, you'll get the gift wrapping bug, where when you switch NANDs the CIAs you don't have installed on both NANDs will be wrapped again. It's recommended to unlink, but do so with TinyFormat so it doesn't mess with your NNID or delete the games on the internal SD.
If you only use emuNAND for .3ds/.3dz games it's best to format that.

I have both Luma+GW in emunand and all works fine.
Only not updating further not supporting gw fw.
Online works too, with little tool ofc duh

Last fully working fw is 11.2, further not fully updated (call it spoof)
You can partly update it, but there no reason for it (Well, only online without patching would work.)
But this method can kill console (I hear it, but not see anyone broken console with it)
Same problem in FE:Echos, dlc still not work.
All other games and dlc works like a charm

If you choose to update, make nand/emunand backup
You need install b9s+luma, then exploit for gw if you still not done that:

Recommended unlink sysnand and emunand, luma3ds and gw use for emunand <11.2 fw and if you really need last fw 11.6 partly update emunand for luma3ds+gw or sysnand fully update for only luma3ds

Hi, could you tell me if there is an option (how-to) to save options like mode of prefered language/options to run menu by shortcut, for me i must select this option on every restart of gw mode. Thanks
