Hacking cfg default settings

how do i change and save the cfg default settings (video/region) when in the cfg app? i want all my games to load as game default...


or is it only done by changing "system" to "game" in the config readme file?

It's easiest to change these options with the cfg configurator program. The settings you are looking for are in the "Global Options 3" tab. Readme files are helpful btw

It is nearly the same but if you are trying to edit the files by yourself then it's easy to mess up and crash cfg-loader. You should use the configurator, it will correct and add the settings that it will work fine.

im a bit of a noob but i can delete a word and type another and save a .txt file

its weird how you can change the default view of games list from inside cfg but to change the default video settings you have to manaully change the .txt file on a pc....
