Hacking CBHC Sysnand patch doesn't open homebrew

I used to use CBHC with Mocha Rednand when I realized it is pretty useless for me, and decided to change to just the patched Sysnand from CBHC. While ut works fine I have one little problem with it: I can't open the Homebrew Launcher Channel using it, I can only do it with Rednand, otherwise it blackscreens. Should I try using a fw.img and see if it works better or am I missing something here? TIA
