Castlevania Requiem announced, will have Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood emulated

After being leaked thanks to the ESRB, Konami has officially confirmed the existence of Castlevania: Requiem, a port of Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood to the PlayStation 4. Both of the games will be simply emulated, but will have "new features", which include upscaling to 4K, and having trophies to achieve. Smaller additions such as rumble support and utilizing the DualShock 4's speaker will also be present. The double pack will have a digital-only release, and will land on the PlayStation Store on October 26.

No, because it got the XBLA port, which never came to PlayStation systems afair. And it had a Saturn version in Japan.
Actually, Rondo of Blood had a 2.5D remake on the Sony PSP which also had an unlockable SoTN in it, still find it odd they decided to emulate Rondo instead using the 3Dish PSP one.

What Chary was saying is that the XBLA port of SotN never came to PS systems. Dracula X Chronicles on PSP is well known for it's 2.5d Rondo 'remake' and it's hybrid SotN port (elements of PS and Saturn versions and a new dub). Chary's post was just emphasizing that other than the XBLA and Saturn versions SotN has never been officially released on a non-Sony platform.
