Damn, I want to be able to play with somebody instead of solo'ing every mission. Xlink Kai lags, and my friends and family members says it's too hard.
Hopefully Monster Hunter Tri would be free for online, then again... I might actually pay a month or two if it's required for the US.

yeah it'll probably be jp only. there just isn't a big enough english userbase (or at least people who buy the games) for capcom to bring a game like this over.

This is not going to end well for Capcom or Microsoft...noone is going to bother buying a port of a 3 year old PC game which Japanese gamers already owns.
Well they do buy the PSP ports of PS2 games and not a lot of them have a PC to run it. Saying that probably more have PC's then 360's.

Eventual port to PS3 when it bombs.

Bombs? the japanese eat monster hunter up. heck mh 2nd g the best sold something like 1m. all it was, was 2nd g with a new case. it won't do well but it wont do bad either, though it might boost 360 sales by a bit in japan.

Yep, they buy it on the PSP after some years, but that's because japanese people prefer to play MH on handhelds. Not to mention the PSP version doesn't have an online fee.

Monster Hunter is not as popular on consoles.. and the 360 is not a popular console in Japan, MS is obviously trying to change that with this announcement, but I doubt it will work.

Monster Hunter is very popular is Japan, people that is getting it for the 360 can start a new game, or is able to play with friends that doesn't have a good enough PC to run it in the first place. Heck, it was even popular in Hong Kong in the summer of 2008, I was seeing ads at places I go.

That's what I thought as well. MH games are on the PSP so if Capcom were to put it on the PS3 it would be a different story because not only would Capcom sell the game, if they added connectivity with it say being able to use your character in 2nd G, then people would flock not only to the PS3 but possibly the PSP as well.

At least, that is how I see it anyway...

That is so true Cocky my bud, while I'm no fan of the games they do suit the PSP more.

@Xdqwerty No you heard wrong, and don't believe till you experience yourself. Fallout 4 is one of my favorite games of all time. Yes it had issues early on, esp with older hardware like the xbox1, but it is awesome, esp now being 4k on Series S/X or PS5

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you right there, fallout 76 was a letdown, but it not that bad now, they have fixed slot of issues they had at launch. Biggest issue with Fallout 76 is its a pay to advance further type of game, which sucks
