Can't see certain thread but can search it fine

The main PS3 jailbreak thread never appears for me, but I can search for it just fine. It is in user submitted news and every time I search it is usually up to date and so should appear on the first page of that forum. But it is never listed for me no matter how many pages I go through. But using the search box at the bottom of the page brings it up just fine. Weird problem and have no idea how to fix it. Thanks.

that section doesn't work that way, just like the blog section
it is ordered by date of original posting so as to keep the most recent news at the top
