It doesn't seem like I can find any information about this problem and I'm starting to wonder if this is an uncommon issue. WUP Installer was working fine for me, but now when I try to install something with WUP, it just says "Installing..." and shows the progress as "0.0/0.0 MB (0%)" no matter how long I have it running. I've tried various things to determine what could be the cause of it, and nothing's working. I know it's not that I have too many games on my system, and the external hard drive I'm trying to extract to still has most of its space free. I tried this on a spare SD card, but it still had this problem. Does anyone know what could be the source of this problem?

How are you launching WUP Installer?

Directly from Homebrew (offline), I heard you can install it to the dashboard but I never tried this.

Have you tried installing game to nand instead of external hardrive. I once had an issue like that with a forwarder when I was down to 10G left on my hd. So had plenty of room for a small file. It installed to nand then I just moved to hardrive through disk management. I had then deleted games off hd and I was able to install to that fine again

It seems to work like that, thanks. I'm not sure why I can't install directly to the external drive anymore, I've only used a fraction of its available space. As long as I'm at least able to move from the NAND to there, that should be fine though.

Good I’m glad that worked for you. Sucks with the added steps as if there aren’t enough already but atleast once you’ve got what u want then ur done. It’s not something that will effect gameplay

Now that u moved something to ur hardrive maybe try wup installer to hardrive again and see if maybe it’ll work.
I had a forwarder that couldn’t get to work or maybe was Retroarch channel so I deleted it off hardrive and when went to install back on I had ur problem so I did what I told u. What I installed wasn’t working still so I delete it again. But like I said earlierI had 10G free on a 500G drive. I deleted some games I no want and got to round 20G free and wup installer installed fine to hardrive after. Idk any reasoning. Something that is prob under 10MB should have plenty of room with 10G left free on hd

Also maybe try a dif version of wup installer ether non gx one or gx one if that’s not the one ur using. I know on hb App Store there are several

I think even the Wii usbhelper one may work as one even if no use the computer side of the app

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.
